Hello, dear compassionate souls.

This is Baraa'h Qandeel, a 25-year-old writer, dreamer, and multipotentialite from Gaza. I have been working in digital marketing, business development, and translation. I have many aspirations and dreams to pursue, one of which is to complete my higher education studies abroad, and I have been recently accepted into an MBA program at Lincoln University College in Malaysia with a 53% scholarship.

The Challenge:

As we all have been waiting during the past 15 months, we are finally heading to a ceasefire and an end to this nightmare. However, it's not the end, it's merely the start, as our family is still facing the challenge of starting all over again from zero after losing literally everything, and the fate of a family of nine is hanging by the thread of uncertainty, fear, and vague future. The challenge is to secure money to help our family stand on their feet again. On the other hand, I need to secure money for my solo journey heading to Malaysia and cover my studies and living expenses.

The Dream:

We need your support to raise the money necessary to help my family start over in Gaza post-genocide by securing a source of income to preserve their dignity and guarantee their financial safety. As for me, I need to cover my admission and visa fees, study fees, travel fees, and living expenses for a few months in Malaysia. I dream of pursuing my higher education studies, and building a successful career to contribute to supporting my family.

What Will the Funds Be Used for?

We have already raised nearly 7.5K, but half of them had to be withdrawn to cover high life expenses as we got stuck after the border has been closed for more than 7 months.

The new target is to raise extra 17K to cover the expenses mentioned above.
