Help Barb Fight Stage 3 Colon Cancer

In August 2021, Barb had surgery to remove a large tumor in her colon - leaving her with a 10” incision and weeks of healing. The pathology report revealed this was Stage 3 Colon Cancer.

Barb will now begin chemotherapy treatments (surgery to put in her port 9/29). She will receive infusions bi-weekly with slow drip chemotherapy at home as well for the next 6 months.

Barb lost her husband 6 years ago suddenly to a heart attack at 55. Now Barb battles this health crisis while trying to hold down her job (part-time during treatment), care for her home and medical bills.

We are reaching out to family, friends and the community for help with we anticipate to be mounting medical bills over the next several years. Barb should only have to save her energy for the battle against the cancer and not worry about the bills that will pour in.
