Help Barb re-start her life

[Update: Wow. I underestimated how willing people are to help in times of crisis. Mom and I are completely overwhelmed with gratitude. It's so healing for her to see the amount of support she's receiving. Thank you!]
My name is Alicia Bush and my Mother, Barb, just lost her home in the West Kelowna, British Columbia wildfires, which are sadly still ongoing. Late on the evening of August 17th, she had to be evacuated from her unit without much warning and therefore lost almost everything she owned, including her 16-year-old car and our families' scrapbooks and childhood photos. Unfortunately, she did not have insurance, so with basically just a few clothes packed, she now needs to start completely over. For anyone who has the privilege of knowing her, understands how loving, thoughtful and incredibly resilient she is.
This is a devasting time for her, our family, and this community. I am so fortunate to still have her but I'm asking for your help to make this time a little easier for her by contributing anything you can. These funds will go towards essential items, basic care products, clothes, food and whatever else she needs to get by during this traumatic time.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this more than you know.
