Help Barbara As She Battles Stage 4 Cancer
My beautiful childhood friend, Barbara Demarest Chambers, is battling Stage 4 Breast Cancer. She was diagnosed a few months ago and the cancer has now spread to her stomach lining and the lining of her brain. She is a single mother of 2 beautiful teenage girls, Natalie and Sophia. Her cleaning business has been affected due to COVID 19 and her declining health, as it is only bringing in 20% of what it used to. During this time, she is also incurring medical costs. We want the financial pressure to be lifted from Barbara during such a difficult time, so she can enjoy being with her daughters and friends.
Barbara's faith has been an inspiration to me and many others as she is going through this battle with such peace and grace. Here is what she shared in her last update to me:
"Mentally and spiritually, I am fantastic! God is so good to me that sometimes I think I'm his favorite!
Knowing I am in the palm of God's hands keeps me feeling safe & secure. God has given me His peace. The creator of all things concerns His self with even the smallest details of my life. I'm truly in no better place. I thank God for my affliction that I've come to know God in this way. I believe the work He has started, He will finish for His glory."
