Help Barbara during her time of loss and need

Hi my name is Jennifer I am fund raising for my aunt Barbara Lewis McCoy during these difficult times.

Tragedy and misfortune is fate we all dread but for Barbara and Steve 2 army Veterans it came to knock on their door. This tragic house fire left my aunt in a position fleeing for her life while the fire claimed the life of her husband, my uncle Steve McCoy a Vietnam Vet who was unable to make it out. Loosing her partner of 38 years leaves Barbara at a great loss. Barbara not only lost her husband but also all of the memorabilia of her only child she shared with Steve who lost her life some years before. This fire has destabilized her life loosing her family, belongings and her financial security.Barbara went to the VA for help but was told that due to COVID the living spaces designated for homeless Veterans were full and unavailable. Barbara at this point was left homeless with burns she suffered while trying to physically pull her husband from the fire but was unsuccessful. Barbara is without a home and in need of help and assistance with food, clothing,basic living needs and a home. Any donation that can be giving will help aide Barbara during her difficult time.
