Help Barbara Genes' Soul Food Cafe Thrive

My name is Chef Eric Campbell. I am the proud owner of Barbara Genes' Soul Food Cafe in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Arlington Heights. We serve some of the best BBQ brisket, ribs, and chicken you will ever experience in your life!! (Our fried chicken is pretty amazing too.)

In April of this year, with the help of family and close friends, I was blessed with the opportunity to open my first restaurant. A dream I've had since I was a 13-year-old chubby little kid learning how to cook from my grandmother (Barbara Jean Murray).

We recently held a Grand Opening to inform the neighborhood and surrounding area that we are here and ready to serve delicious, quality food. It has taken some time but we are finally starting to gain some traction, but we are still in need of some help.

I am asking for those that are willing to help us keep our doors open as operating expenses have become challenging. These funds will be used to help with operating costs such as rent, equipment repair, and staffing.
