Help Barbara Honor Carmen's Legacy

My name is Barbara DiPiano and I need help to raise $3,000 to cover the cost of services for my mom Carmen Valentine. My mom lived her entire life doing for others. This was not expected and she had planned for this day to leave us stress free of any financial responsibility but still owes on the policy.
On 5/9/24....it was supposed to be my day of joy. What an accomplishment I graduated from college. Already angry at the whole parking situation why were handicapped people not allowed a safe area to exit their vehicles and then be picked up in a safe area? As my mom drove her scooter to cross Holman to get on Cullen she thought she was on the accessible concrete area. But, she wasn't. As I went to try to grab her chair with 3 bundles of flowers in my hand she fell off her chair onto the concrete and hit her head. My mom was injured. Cranial damage. My mom did not know she was injured. She did not want to detour from a celebration. She felt a little pain on the left side of her body. She did not look good and had a hard time cutting her food. I asked, "Mom are you okay"? She said, "My head hurts". I told her she needed and should go to the hospital. She said she wanted to take a nap. My son whom she got out of bed for every day told her "Nana you can not take a nap you hit your head". My oldest son told her she needed to go to the hospital so little boy and big boy convinced her. Before leaving I honored my mom with my "first generation stowl" she cried and was so happy. We got in the parking lot I hugged and kissed her. I told her I would meet her at the hospital. She was riding with my brother and my aunt. That would be our last hug and kiss! She arrived at the hospital and they took her straight back for scan. She was telling the doctor how proud she was as she went back and came out. She stopped talking and went into a coma before they got back to the room. My mom was bleeding on the left side of her head from the fall. My mom never spoke, hugged, or laughed anything again.
My mom received her angel wings at 3:15 p.m 5/10/24.
