Help Barbara Waite get home

These are my dear friends Barbara & Carl Waite.  Barbara is one of the sweetest most genuine people I know. I love her like a sister. As many of you know she and her husband sold their home in Simi & purchased their retirement home in Texas. They packed up and headed out of town on May 1 for the 4 day drive. An unfortunate event occurred while passing through Indio CA, and Barbara ended up in the hospital with a broken leg. She is still hospitalized awaiting medical transport toTexas. Her husband Carl also ended up in the hospital a couple of times over the last 10 days. So there are also unexpected hotel bills for Carl,  his ER bills & his 2 short overnight hospitalizations.

All their belongings are sitting in the garage in Texas. They need to hire new movers to unpack & get the house set up & work is needed to make conversions to accommodate Barbara's motorized wheelchair.

Due to Barbaras handicap, she cannot fly commercial and the cost of the transport alone is expected to be anywhere from $11, 000 to $14, 000. Insurance will not cover any of it. The hospital stay is also no longer being covered by insurance so there will most likely be some very large bill's coming. In addition, they need to hire in-home care for Barbara as Carl is just not physically able to help her anymore. 

I would love to bless Barbara and Carl by fully funding her transport and at least partially funding her home health care if we can. I would love to blow past the $25,000 so that we can help with the bills that are sure to come. I understand money is tight for so many of us, but this is a way to show how we can all come together and do a mighty thing. We are stronger together than alone.
