Help Barry’s family with his funeral expenses

Hi. My name is Kimberly. A family I have been close to for over 30 years, lost their patriarch yesterday. Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Barry Jacobs, went to be with Jesus yesterday morning after a battle with heart failure. For those who had the pleasure of knowing him, knew he had a way to light up a room with happiness and laughter. I was on a video chat with him just a few days ago and he was still cracking jokes while under hospice care. Always making others laugh. He was a die hard Alabama fan. Loved his family and friends, but especially his wife, Linda. The light of his life.

Barry served his country in the Army but unfortunately as most know, the military death benefits aren’t especially great. They will give a little towards a headstone and that is about all. Barry did not have life or burial insurance due to his heart condition, he wasn’t insurable. The family is left with the cost of medical bills and funeral expenses.

Many friends and family have asked how they can help or where they can donate to, so I set this up for his wife, Linda. She will use the money to pay what she needs to for the funeral and other expenses. Her life is completely changed, so let’s help make this less difficult than it has already been.

They are going to Cullman Funeral Home to make arrangements and I will post the service info as soon as I have it. Please help with whatever you can. It is greatly appreciated.
