I am Bassam Omar. I am married with five children. I'm really embarrassed to have to ask for help in this moment — this is the first time I've asked for help. The situation is becoming more dire and I am asking now. Please read my story below:

Help Bassam Omar & his family of 7 afford basic necessities. Bassam & his family have been sheltering in R@fah after being displaced by the ongoing war. As many of you have heard, prices are extremely high due to the existing blockade and heavy bombardment. This fundraiser is for basic necessities for everyone in the family (members below), and medical care for 2 1/2 year old Bakr.

Think of what you or your family needs to survive in a day. Bassam, Zaher, and their children need food and drink (money for drinks is especially important as the vast majority of water in G@za is unsafe to drink). Bakr and 6 month old baby Ahmed need milk and diapers.

Bakr underwent successful open-heart surgery in 2022 and has been growing well since then. He does need ongoing medical care, and since October the price of his medicine and care has also increased greatly.

Please find it within your heart and your spirit to consider the Omar family as your own and help them survive this horrific time.
