On the morning of August 21st, Battalion Chief James Merrow from the Sanford Airport Fire Department, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. James was hit by a car while on his motorcycle and he sustained several life threatening injuries. He had to undergo surgery immediately for extensive injuries associated with this accident. This will put him out of work for a significant amount of time. He has a very long road to recovery and we want to do everything we can to help off set the medical bills and any other financial hardships that he may endure. James is a father and a committed member of the fire department and now he needs our help.
