Helping YADA to Thrive and Survive
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Young Adults Disabled Association Inc.; every donation will help. Thank you in advance for contributing to this cause, which means so much to me.
We are a small grassroots Not-for-profit charity. The Young Adults Disabled Association (YADA) is an organisation that started over 30 years ago to provide social support for people with disabilities. Founded by Jennifer McAlees and John Eastwood, they shared ideas about creating an organisation involving people with disabilities that get them out of the house.
Now, YADA runs a day-centre group two days per week at a local community hall where people can participate in activities that enhance their confidence and living skills, with buses to transport clients to and from their homes and the centre. As part of its centre-based daycare program, there are also weekend outings and day trips every month and yearly holidays.
Our ultimate goal would be able to build our own fit-for-purpose facility instead of hiring a shared location.
Please help us.
