Help Beacon the U.S.A. Gymnastic Therapy Dog Heal
Donation protected
The Goodest Boy, the 4.5 year old Golden Retriever who has shared his love with the U.S.A. Gymnastics as a therapy dog, as well as Huntington Hospital and even Cal Tech students, is currently in the hospital. Beacon was admitted to a local pet hospital on September 3rd with a high fever and pleural effusion. During the night they emptied 700 ml from his chest cavity. No concrete diagnosis has been provided as of this posting.
If you've ever had the honor to meet Beacon, you know what a very special pup he is and why he has earned the name the "Goodest Boy." His owner Tracey is also the "bestest Mom" and takes the utmost care of Beacon. Besides participating in animal assisted therapy, Beacon enjoys his daily walks, swimming, hiking and even camping. Beacon and Tracey have traveled all over the country to share his love at U.S.A. Gymnastics competitions this past year. I may be biased, however, I believe Beacon was a positive factor that helped the gymnasts win so many medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Now, let's give our love and support back to Tracey and Beacon, we need him at the 2028 Olympics! Follow Beacon on Instagram @goldendogbeacon.
Please donate whatever you can......even the smallest amounts will matter. Currently, close to $12K has been paid for the hospital stay and previous vet visits involving this same health issue. We anticipate the costs to go even higher. Any funds received will only go towards Beacon's health care. Again, any and all amounts are appreciated!
Let's get the Goodest Boy back to top health and doing what he does best........share the love.
A little about me, I've known Beacon since he was 8 weeks old (I've known Tracey for about 9 years) and witnessed the beautiful training Tracey personally provided to Beacon making him truly the "Goodest Boy." Additionally, my Golden named Gracie adores Beacon (they are one week apart in age), and we just need him to continue his work for many years to come.
