Help Beata Beat Cancer

After almost 7 years in remission, our mother, Beata, found out in 2021 that her breast cancer had unfortunately returned and had spread. As this diagnosis was categorized Stage IV and terminal, we were terrified by the uncertainty of what would happen next. For last 3 years, we have watched our mother and our friend bravely and steadfastly live with this disease, changing her lifestyle and trying treatments. After one of the targeted therapies -which had been working previously- began to decrease in efficacy, Beata tried another treatment but to no avail.

Since the last failed treatment, we have watched our mother and friend grow weaker, losing weight and developing complications in her lungs as the cancer metastasizes. At this time, the remaining treatment options available in our region include a drug with a potential side effect of severe lung damage, or traditional chemotherapy. Both of these options can be incredibly tough on the body, and with her very low weight and overall weakened state, Beata firmly believes that in her case, the risks of these remaining treatments far outweigh the potential benefits.

Beata has reached out to a medical clinic in Germany which has agreed to take her on as a patient. This clinic utilizes treatment options that are not available in Canada, but have been used with success in Germany.

We are very hopeful that this approach, which uses mistletoe therapy, immune therapies, hyperthermia and dentrific cell therapy, will be effective and will help put cancer in remission.

We are hoping to raise money to cover the cost of the therapy (three 4 week cycles of daily treatments at the clinic), as well as travel and accommodation costs.

We are inspired and motivated every day by Beata’s positivity and her resolute determination to beat cancer once again and to live a healthy, full life. We want nothing more than to see this come to fruition and to see her thrive.
