Help Becca and Ed After Fire
Donation protected
Like so many in our community, tragedy struck this week when the Palisades fire destroyed the home and belongings of Becca and her youngest son, Edward. In an instant, they lost everything—clothing, furniture, cherished memories, and the tools Becca relies on for her professional practice.
Becca is a nurturing and loving mother and a compassionate professional -- she has always worked tirelessly to provide for her kids and her community and to create a safe, nurturing home. As a renter without renter’s insurance and no significant savings to fall back on, this disaster has left her in an unimaginable position: starting over from nothing.
Becca and Ed need our community’s support. Your generosity can help them:
• Secure long-term safe housing and basic necessities (clothing, food, and toiletries) exceeding federal aid allowances.
• Replace essential items for Ed, including school supplies and comfort items, beyond what federal aid allows.
• Allow Becca to regain stability for her family through focusing on work.
• PLEASE NOTE: GoFundMe funds are only for the amount Becca would need after FEMA aid.
This is a moment where our collective kindness can make a lasting impact. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help Becca and Ed take the first steps toward healing and rebuilding their lives. Please donate if you can, and share this campaign widely to ensure Becca and Ed receive the support they so desperately need. Together, we can help them rise from this devastating loss and start anew.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity during this complex and devastating time.
