Help Becky Attend a Writing Residency in France!

Hi! I'm Becky Tarasick, a Toronto based emerging writer. I'm excited to share that I've been invited to be a Writer in Residence at Chateau d'Orquevaux in France, from November 7th-27th 2025.

Chateau d'Orquevaux is an internationally awarded residency—only 20% of applicants are accepted. This will be 3 weeks of dedicated space and time to further my writing, alongside other artists and writers from around the world! I've been given two grants towards the cost of the residency as an emerging writer, but the remaining costs come to $3,500 CAD. This will be paid in two installments. Beyond that, any extra funds will be put towards my travel costs and covering bill payments while I'm away.
