Please Help Us Fund Beemo's Eye Surgery!

Hello,
My wife and I are raising money for Beemo's eye surgery. As you can see in the photo, one of her eyes is a much darker shade than the other. We have been keeping tabs on it over the years and are now at the point where the pupil in the affected eye can no longer move/react to light. She has melanocytosis, which is high risk of becoming metastasizing - becoming cancerous.
We love Beemo. She is our world. She is the most loving and friendly creature I have ever known. Any and all help you can give is appreciated. The $2200 (actual cost is $2254-$2321) will cover: pre-surgery blood work, the surgery itself, pain medication, histopathology of the eye (to determine if it is already cancerous) - basically everything.
We found Beemo walking home from getting drinks with friends when we lived in Cleveland, OH. It was the middle of winter and snow was on the ground. We saw a tiny creature attempt to climb up a tree (and failing spectacularly) before realizing it was a tiny kitten. I started meowing at it and making motions with my hands to try and get it to come to me. My wife - then girlfriend said "cats aren't dogs, that's not going to work." Well lo and behold Beemo came trotting right up to me. I picked her up and flipped her over in my arms like a baby. We took her home out of the cold. Gave her cold cuts since it was too late to get cat food. The next day we exhausted every avenue to see if she was owned by anyone. No one claimed her and she became ours forever.
Beemo loves and often DEMANDS attention. When I work at my computer she will force her way onto my lap for cuddles. When my wife and I are cuddling on the couch watching a movie, she often has to not only be on one of us but touching the other with her paws. She is so smart and crafty and very food motivated. Beemo means everything to us and we will do whatever it takes to keep her happy and healthy for years to come.
If you are able to contribute, we really appreciate it--we also appreciate any loving thoughts and good wishes sent our way as we help her through her recovery. Thank you so much!
