Help Bel beat Lemierres- A Teen’s Fight For Life

Hello everyone!

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a plea for help for a brave young soul named Isabella Troncao. At just 15, Bel’s life has taken an unexpected turn as she battles a rare and severe illness called Lemierre's Syndrome.

Lemierre's Syndrome is a life-threatening condition that starts as a simple throat infection and can escalate into a serious and potentially fatal illness. Sadly, very little is known about Lemierre’s as it is incredibly rare, about 1 person a million contracts it worldwide. Bel’s journey has been challenging, filled with hospital stays, and very specific medications to help combat her illness. Despite the odds, Bella remains strong, determined, and full of hope.

As you can imagine, the stress of Bel’s sudden illness paired with her extensive medical care has been very overwhelming. The mounting hospital bills, medications, and ongoing treatments are also placing a significant strain on us as a family. We are reaching out to our community, friends, and compassionate strangers to ask for your support during this trying time.
