Update – 25 May 2025
My name is Bilal Ashraf. I’m a 14-year-old boy from Gaza. When the war started, our house was bombed. On January 11th, I lost my beloved father, and I became paralyzed, I can no longer walk. Since then, I’ve been living with my mother, grandmother, and my younger siblings. I’m the eldest, and I try my best to be strong for them. Today, May 25th, another tragedy struck: My uncle (my mother’s brother) was killed in an airstrike, along with his innocent children. We are now alone our small family is trying to survive one day at atime. I have become the man of the house, supporting my grieving mother and caring for my siblings, despite my own injury. I still dream of walking again, going to school, and playing with my brothers like before. But more than ever, I need your help not just for me, but for my whole family. Please share and support my fundraiser. Every donation, no matter how small, brings hope back to our lives.

Hello, my name is Belal Ashraf Shaat from Gaza. I created this page to ask for help after the tough times I went through. Since the beginning of the war, our neighbor's house was bombed while we were leaving ours for a safer place. My father and I were severely injured, along with my grandmother and my aunt. My right leg was damaged, and I currently have deep bone fractures. I had platinum inserted into my foot and I can't move. My father's injuries were even worse; he had bone fractures and blood poisoning. He bled internally and passed away five months ago.
Now, my siblings, my mother, my grandmother, and I are living on the streets with no house or shelter. My cousin, who also lost her father as a martyr in a previous war, has no one and no shelter, so she's staying with us. I can't walk or move, and I'm the oldest of my siblings. I hope you can provide as much help as possible as soon as possible so I can get out of here and receive the medical help I desperately need. Thank you for your cooperation.
