Help Belinda Battle Stomach Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, I am Ian Penrod, and I am trying to raise money to help my mother, Belinda Ford, who has been recently diagnosed with stomach cancer. Belinda is a kind, generous, God-fearing woman. She has had bad luck with medical issues. In 2016, she was struck with idiopathic transverse myelitis, which is a rare autoimmune disease that attacked her spine, causing her to lose feeling on her entire right side. Despite that, she has kept her positive attitude, and she tries to keep as active as she can. Earlier this year, she went in for a routine EGD where they found a small ulcer that was biopsied and found positive for cancer. The closest gastro cancer doctor is located in Pittsburgh, nearly 1.5-2 hours away. It was caught early, but she still has to have her whole stomach removed. The funds raised will be used for new tires, gas to get to appointments in Pittsburgh, co-pays, and some bills and groceries. My mother has touched so many lives over the years, whether it was as a librarian aide at an elementary school, a cheerleading coach, a foster parent, a singer in church, or a friend to many. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
