Help Belinda reestablish her life

Hi, my name is Bri Whitfield and I am starting this account for my mother, Belinda Whitfield, who after experiencing chronic homelessness for over 10 years, FINALLY, has a place to call her home.

While gaining an apartment was a huge milestone on this journey, it is really just the beginning.

After years of couch surfing, she’s had to travel as light as possible. This means she’s had to abandon things like clothes, shoes, important documents, and more. Now that she has a home, she’ll need those things again to restart her life. Additionally, she’ll need many small things that we often take for granted like toiletries, cleaning supplies, towels, rugs, and even a kitchen trash can.

Until she finds employment, she’ll also need money for utilities and transportation.

While I have been helping as much as I possibly can, being a single mother myself, I can’t sustain two households on my own.

Please help me in making a difference in my mother's life and helping her transition from chronic homelessness to a place of safety and peace.
