Help Belinda Spann Overcome Tragedy

On May 3rd my beautiful mother

Christopher Belinda Spann was the victim of a horrible crash where she almost lost

her life. She is now in the hospital where

she has undergone 3 surgeries and more are scheduled.

She was at the Clayton County courthouse trying to stop an eviction of her home. A

home she has lived in for the longest.

Before this, my mother was injured at her job when someone hit the bus she was

driving. That forced her to stop working and seek disability. That put her behind on paying her rent on her home. In this incident, as she was standing outside the courthouse with two others, a 77 year old male driver went around barricades, hit two trees and ran over a handicap parking sign and then hit her and two others. The SUV dragged our mother and left her stuck under the rear wheel. The truck was still running and the heat burned the skin off of our mother’s body. People had to remove the SUV to

free her. She suffered a broken leg, broken

pelvis, a possible broken shoulder, severe burns that took the majority of the skin from her back among all of the other scrapes and bruises. She is in so much pain….

The collision she was involved in and this

incident wasn't her fault and she is praying for the man that was driving the truck. But it has left her

struggling just to get by and it has taken her from her grandchildren whom she often cares for. We would appreciate

any financial assistance to help keep her afloat as she tries to recover from her

injuries and work to keep her home. She is so thankful to be alive. Please help this wonderful lady.
