Help Bell recovery from burglary

UPDATE
On Sunday, Bells got broken into a SECOND TIME. This is despite adding extra locks from the first incident. It really shows how badly she will need the security system moving forward so she doesn’t become an on-going target. We’ve upped the goal an additional 1000£ now, to compensate for the additional property damage, and additional stolen replaced goods. I only have a photo of the damage to the side of the door but it was on both sides and also damage to walls and the interior etc.

This week, someone broke into Bell’s Cafe in Bermondsey Spa gardens. In addition to the property and goods that they stole, they also caused damage to the building and shutters that needs fixing. Unfortunately, insurance claims will raise the premium too much. Let’s all come together and support Bell in restocking, repurchasing and repairing the cafe as well as installing an important new security system to make sure nothing like this ever happens again.
Bell’s is an amazing cafe with delicious food, but it is also a community place. Bell is always there to listen, help out and support each and every person. Rain or shine, through every season, Bell is always there welcoming everyone with open arms. She truly makes such a difference in this community, and all of our lives. Community places like these are unfortunately rare now. I know we can all come together and help support this wonderful place.
