Help Bella Bryce

Donation protected
As many of you know, this last year has been hell for Bella Bryce. She's undergoing a divorce, a recent move from the States back to Scotland, and now, she's undergoing total knee replacement.

In 2007, Bella had surgery in Hungary for a torn ACL received during a football game. She contracted sepsis, a dangerous condition that was left untreated for three months until a surgeon in the U.S. finally intervened. It was a miracle she survived, but the end result of the two operations that quickly followed was a.) Bella Bryce remains with us, and b.) she got back 60% range of motion in her knee.

Now flash to 2018. In the middle of a messy divorce, Bella has moved to Scotland to start her life afresh, but her knee has deteriorated to the point that surgeons feel they cannot delay. Damaged and worn from the untreated sepsis in 2007, her surgery has been scheduled six days from now (10/25) and she is a high risk for repeat infection.

She has had zero time to prepare. Having only just found a job, she is now faced with being unable to work for the next 3 to 6 months while she and her prosthetic knee get to know one another.  She needs help. The money we hope to raise via GoFundMe will go toward reducing the cost of extra physical therapy and the day to day living expenses that won't be covered since she won't be able to work--rent, transportation back and forth to medical/PT, utility bills, etc.

Help us get Bella through her surgery and through the next few months, until she can return to work and, quite literally, get back on her feet again.
