Help Bella fundraise her medical mission trip

My name is Bella Cubides; I am an undergraduate student at Grand Canyon University. I am currently working to earn my Bachelor in Biology with an Emphasis in Pre-Medicine. I plan to attend graduate school to become an MD with my degree. As a doctor, I plan to provide health care to developing countries worldwide as a global health physician. Through our Honors College at Grand Canyon University, I have the opportunity to go on a medical mission trip to Puerto Penasco, Mexico, through Well Child International.

Many are familiar with the luxuriate side of the city, which is lined with beachfront resorts and tourist activities; however, many are unaware of the vulnerable population who lack basic needs and care. Well Child International has been given geographical regions in which they provide the opportunity to send a few students to assist the needs of the population in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Their goal is to have a "local health care worker" in each zone for individuals to turn to when needing medical assistance. As a volunteer, I will help with the house-to-house medical assessments and screening, provide health education, and work in a clinic to provide care for patients in need of medical care. This trip is significant to me because, as said in Luke 9:2, "He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick." Through this experience, I will be able to be purposeful in sharing Gods love through providing medical assistance for his people.

I am fundraising for my trip to Puerto Penasco to make this possible. In total, it will cost $1200 for me to attend this experience and help these individuals. I have started fundraising with a GoFundMe. If this is something you would be interested in donating to, I wanted to say thank you in advance.
