Help Ben and Jennie Rebuild After Fire

Donation protected
We have undertaken this GoFundMe request on behalf of Ben and Jennie, who would never ask for themselves. Ben and Jennie lost their home and all their possessions to the Eaton fire in Altadena. They lived in a small wooden cottage, in a line of little cottages, on East Pine Street in Altadena. They were evacuated on very short notice in the evening of Tuesday January 7, and find themselves left with little more than their cat, their computer, and the clothes in which they fled.

Ben and Jennie married in November a few blocks from their home, at Loma Alta Park, with a small gathering of their immediate family and friends. Both are artists - Jennie focuses on photography and film making, and Ben on poetry and photography and videography. They lost all of their art resources, books, and equipment to the fire. They are self employed, having only last year set up their photography/videography business. All of their fledgling business materials were lost to the fire.

It will take resources for them to rebuild their lives as a young couple just starting a life together, as artists, and as business people. We appreciate any contribution you can make. We also know that the last thing they would want is for anyone to give more than they can; please be considerate of the limitations of your own resources in making any contributions.

Thank you so much for your generosity.
