Help Ben Dangerfield and Family Rebuild Their Home

Just days ago, Ben Dangerfield and his family were devastated to learn that their home in Cameron, South Carolina, was lost to a fire. The fire began in the afternoon and took hours to contain. While we are incredibly grateful that Ben and his family were unharmed, they are now facing the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

Not only did the fire destroy their home, but their car as well. This has placed an even greater burden on Ben, who is currently the only working family member in the household. His grandmother, who is disabled, and his uncle, who requires assistance with his wheelchair, both relied on their home as a safe and stable environment — one that is now gone.

Right now, Ben and his family are displaced and living in temporary housing. They have lost everything, and we want to rally together to help them start over. Our goal with this GoFundMe campaign is to provide Ben and his family with the support they need to rebuild, replace essential belongings, and secure permanent housing.

Ben is known for his resilience, hard work, and unwavering positivity. Just a few months ago, he was recognized as "Employee of the Year" at LOVING’s South Carolina Farm — an honor that speaks to his incredible dedication and work ethic. Now, it's our turn to show Ben the same generosity and kindness he has always given to others.
