Help Ben kick cancer's ass
Donation protected
When I asked Scott and Kristen (Ben's amazing parents) if they would be okay if we put together a GoFundMe page to help with Ben's medical bills, they humbly said they didn't want anyone to feel they had to help. No surprise as this family has always been on the helping side...and now it's our time to help them.
Here's a bit about Ben. He is an awesome 23 year old who graduated in 2020 from Providence College in Rhode Island with a major in finance. He got a job immediately after graduating and proudly rented his first apartment, and exciting first steps towards adulthood and a newfound Independence. A few months later, and just a week after his 23rd birthday, Ben had a biopsy after discovering a lump on the right side of his neck. The PET Scan confirmed his parent's biggest fear, cancer. Ben was diagnosed with classic Hodgkin's lymphoma stage IV. He is being treated at Dana-Farber in Boston and is enduring 6 months of aggressive chemotherapy treatments. This is just the beginning of a long windy road for Ben.
On August 13th insurance denied Ben's scheduled PET scan and on October 29th another PET scan was also denied by insurance. There is no way to know if those treatments are working without these much needed tests.
I'm asking for your help today! Please contribute as much as you can so Scott and Kristin can help Ben get these scans that are an integral part of his treatment.
This family has endured enough...having lost a son on a tragic accident in 2017. Let's help them win this fight and help Ben kick cancer's ass.
