Help Ben Leahy Fight Colon Cancer

We have recently learned that our dear friend and our boy's loyal tennis coach of six years has been diagnosed with colon cancer. He is currently in the hospital receiving treatment. He will be beginning chemotherapy in May, with possible surgeries between now and then. It is the beginning stages of a long journey, and we ask for your help in supporting our friend.

Ben began coaching tennis at the age of 18 to help pay for court time. Today he has guided tennis players' of all levels to success -- from ranked Junior singles players to USTA ladies teams to those just starting in the sport he loves so dearly.

Ben is one of those people who can put a smile on your face without saying a word. A lover of his motherland Australia, fast cars, the marvel universe, and an excellent scotch, Ben is always found supporting his local restaurants and hanging with dear friends.

We hope to raise enough money to cover his health care needs, such as current and future hospital stays, imaging, chemotherapy, radiology, surgery, and other medical expenses. This help will allow him to relax and recover on his journey to cancer-free. We understand that these are challenging times for everybody, but any donations are greatly appreciated.
