Ben & Maria - Motorcycle Tragedy

Rain and motorcycles do not go together... Ben was out for a ride when a rain storm popped up, the road became slick and he lost control. He woke up in the ambulance, unaware of his surroundings and with some extreme injuries. He has a long road ahead of him. There will be rehab, physical therapy and more surgery.  Ben is a loving husband and grandfather. His wife works full time but needs to be available to support and aid in his recovery.  Her PTO is gone and FMLA  will protect her position, but the US does not provide paid leave for spouses caring for critically injuried family members. Friends,  family and co-workers have all come together to support Ben and Maria but they will require more than what we can provide. They may also need some renovations to their home -  a ramp for access during recovery, additional safety solutions for their bathroom and bedroom and maybe even a hospital bed. Any donations will be greatly appreciated by the family.
