Hi , I'm in a desperate situation I have a 6 year old Son who I have shared care of and I'm struggling.
I never thought I would find myself having to fall back on a beautiful service like a Go-Fund Me page to help me out in a crisis.
I'm looking to raise $10,000 to assist me with my living expenses, Rent , Food , utilities and general living after my Brain injury that occurred in 2019.
After trying steroid injections in my neck to reduce my miagrains that crippled me to tears I was introduced to prolotheraphy.
I was enlightened by the prolotheraphy injections into my scull at first however at my last injections in November 2020 I had I severe reaction to the injection that sent me into a physcotic episode.
Combined with the Anti Depressant medication and the Prolotheraphy injections along with the large doses of topamax and codeine I was prescribed by my Dr and Physcolocist this forced me to have a break down in which I spent 5 months in the Margaret Tobin centre in Flinders Medical centre here in Adelaide.
They stripped me back from all my medication and I know take 3 tablets in which works very well for my brain injury and my phycosis.
Life is good, At the start of 2019 prior to my brain injury I ran a successfull buisness called Hills To Coast Gardens . While I had all my lawn mowers and whopper snippets and chain saws in storage they where stolen and during the shift where unfortunately not insured. This Go Fund me will money will be used to replace the stolen items so I can restart my Gardening buisness and earn a living to cover my expenses. Currently I'm on centrelink and have applied for 5 jobs and have been refused any of then due to my incapacities that relate to my brain injury. It's sad but that's just the way it is .
I ceased that buisness to return to race riding at Mcevoy Mitchell Racing stables. I was working for this company for 5 months be for the unimaginary happened!!!!
My life changed for ever . I was fit, I had 4 trials untill I had my jockeys licence reinstated so life was looking the best it had for years. I was working for the leading trainer in Adelaide and loving life , All I can remember is sitting on a horse and the next minute being driven to the hospital in a FWD.
Since that day my life has been a struggle, I'm just starting to ride a bike a gain however since my breakdown my headaches have subsided.
So I have no option but to reach out to utilise this service.
