Help Ben Recover from Devastating Burns

Hello everyone,

This is Shailee, Ben’s wife. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share that Ben was recently involved in a tragic accident while working on an oil rig in Duchesne County. A few days ago, on August 14, 2024, an explosion occurred that left Ben with third-degree burns covering about 80% of his body. Right now, he’s in the hospital, sedated, and fighting for his life. The love and prayers from our family and friends are the only things keeping me going as we navigate this incredibly difficult time.

Ben is not just my husband; he’s the most amazing father to our two little boys, who adore him more than anything. Watching them try to understand what’s happening to their dad is absolutely heartbreaking. I’m doing my best to stay strong for them, but the road ahead is overwhelming.

I’m reaching out to ask for your help because the reality is, Ben’s recovery will be long and challenging. He’ll need multiple surgeries, extensive medical care, and rehabilitation. The costs are already piling up, and on top of that, I need to keep our household going for our boys.
