Help Ben Scuglia Keep His Storage Unit Possessions - Again

BEN'S POSSESSIONS ARE AGAIN IN PERIL (Dec 29, 2024)

While our good friend and colleague Ben Scuglia continues to make progress at the Studio City Rehabilitation Center he is still on a long recovery road. In the meantime his personal possessions are still in storage. We saved them with our last fundraiser over a year ago, but those funds have now run out. Please help us pay the storage facilities which are currently in arrears and maintain Ben's personal possessions as he works to rebuild his life!

AMOUNT NEEDED

Last time we raised about $4500. This time around I reset the goal to $7500, so we're looking to raise $3000 (or more). Thank you all!

NEW BACK STORY

Ben is working on his physical therapy. He can occasionally be wheeled out to the courtyard area of his Rehabilitation Center in Studio City, has regained so much of his speech and congnitive abilities, and is able to get on line and post on social media to all his friends. He has progressed so far, but there is much more work to do.

Below is the original "Back Story" and info from our last crowd-funding drive...

BACK STORY

As you know Ben had a stroke last year. He is currently recovering in a facility in Studio City, but at present has no access to his bank account. Many of his belongings are housed in two storage units he acquired long ago and they have not been paid for since Ben was hospitalized. All his possessions stored in those units are about to be lost as the units go up for auction on January 10th, 2024.

Our hope is that we will eventually get access to Ben's bank account to continue paying for the units, but right now time is of the essence and we need funds IMMEDIATELY before they go up for auction. (Ben cannot remember his bank information right now, and though he is able to communicate, carefully, there is much more recovery that he has to go through.)
