Help Benji Get His Eye Treatment!

Benji is my sweet and funny low-sighted/blind dog. Over the past few years, he has been under the care of a veterinary ophthalmologist to manage his eyes, one of which is worse than the other. He is on four different eye drops/gels every day to keep his eye pressures down below glaucoma levels. The medications have been doing a good job of keeping pressures down, but as expected, his left eye pressure is increasing even with the meds.

Our goal with Benji is to keep his eyes in his head, as that is the least invasive and most safe for him. In order to make sure that his left eye's swelling is kept under control, in the next few months he will require a procedure in which his eye is injected while he is a twilight state (so no putting under,) to relieve some of that pressure and maintain his eye health.

This procedure is unexpected, and while it may not guarantee that his eye will never have to be removed, this will buy him valuable time as we plan for his future care. Any shares or donations to help with the cost of this is greatly appreciated and I thank you!
