Help Beth beat Bone Cancer
Donation protected
Hi. This is my Partner beth and she was loving life until a fall in October that turned out to be caused by a rare form of bone cancer in her left leg. After several scans, she was put on one of the most brutal forms of Chemotherapy available. Following two rounds of Chemo, she was operated on in aberdeen and they removed the lower femur and the tumour, then replaced her knee. At this point the Odds were with us. Beth continued on with cycles 3 and 4 of the chemotherepy, when we had the horrible news from pathology that the Chemotherapy had been less than 5% effective. Beth has chosen to continue with the treatment with the attitude of 5% is better than 0%. Beths whole working life as a youth worker has been about helping others. Now that the odds have turned against her, she needs some help. There is a treatment available in Germany that is showing very promising results for this type of cancer but this comes at quite a cost, so this is why we are asking for any help possible. Beth has always made the most of life and lives for the next adventure. Be that near home in Moray or far away, she makes the most of all life has to give. Thank you so much for any help you can offer, even if that is just a share to get Beths story out there. The treatment is called DCT - Dendritic Cell Therapy
