Help Bethany With Her Engineering Dream at Virginia Tech

My name is Christina and I am raising money for my daughter, Bethany, who is in the engineering program at Virginia Tech. It saddens me to even have to make this GoFundMe, but she is in desperate need of financial help to pay her tuition (just the tuition) which is due on August 12th. I have always co-signed her private loans, but this year the private loan companies are denying our applications because of my Debt-to-Income Ratio from the previous loans and my mortgage payment.

Bethany has worked very hard in a challenging engineering program and is excited about her field of study. She maintains over a 3.0 GPA, works while she is in school, and was a TA for her Chemistry teacher. Bethany did a Co-Op with a steel company in Iowa during the spring semester and was able to save $8,000 towards her tuition, but tuition is $32,000.

As a public school teacher, I just don't have the income to meet the DTI ratio anymore, despite my Credit Score of 801. I am humbled by this experience and am desperately seeking any financial help for my daughter so she can return to school. She loves learning, her school, and is devastated that this is happening. All funds donated will be applied to her tuition.
