Help Bethany Degenhart Baum battle Cancer
Donation protected

Hello Friends:
As many of you know, Bethany (Degenhart) Baum has been fighting a courageous battle with cancer for the past few years. Beth was diagnosed with Stage 2 colorectal cancer in 2019. She underwent surgery at that time to remove a foot of bowel and endured three months of chemotherapy following the surgery. In January of this year, Beth’s diagnosis was changed to Stage 4 when the Doctors found the colorectal cancer had metastasized to her liver. She underwent yet another surgery to remove part of her liver and is currently on her 12th round of chemotherapy. Beth has the best experts on her case and is being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC.
Throughout this battle, Beth has shown tremendous strength and courage, traveling between her home in Nashville and NYC for treatments, caring for her three-year-old son, Noah, and returning to work on a reduced schedule in July. As you can imagine, this is a very stressful time for her. Adding to her stress are the increased medical, travel and day care expenses. Any of you who know Beth know she is as generous and kind as one can be. Throughout her life Beth has been one to offer help, not the one to ask for it. Now she needs our help. If you can, please consider donating whatever amount you are comfortable with to help Beth with her added expenses. Any donation will help her with her battle, and I know how much she would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your love and support to help Beth beat this!
Please feel free to share this post with anyone who has had the privilege of knowing and loving Beth.
