Help Betty Lynch with her Cancer battle
Donation protected
Our dear friend and classmate from Shorewood High School Class of 1976 - Betty Lynch. Betty is also an alumnus of the University of South Florida - St. Petersburg.
Due to an issue with the previous campaign, a new GoFundMe has been created to finish the fundraising. Collectively, $5295 was originally raised with generous donations from the following people:
Jeanne Probst, Lisa Whittet, Peter Chow, Perry Andrews, Tim Arndt, Steve Somogyi, Pam Maher, Ed David, Laurie Demetrio, Anonymous, Anonymous, Marshall Erb, Bradley Bowden, Donna Mondi, Joan Walsh, Anne Wettengel Harris, Kathy Demet, Martine Tate, Patti Breitbach, Geri Wilkinson, David Coddington, Lisa Willoghby, Anonymous, Widline Fontaine, Katie Roozen, Linda Gauvin, Rebecca Keuhn, Gillian Sender, David Cannon, Shayla White, Sawyer Frank, Mallory Frank, Kevin Lynch, Carlyn Ayres, Ruth Constine, Cynthia Cole, Debra Cordeiro, Dan Berghaus, Irene Diamond, Kelly Litton, Sandra Glasford, Anthony Zeh.
Betty is embarking on a difficult journey to battle aggressive cancer, and we would like to help support her in this time of need. Betty is a working mother with a college-age son, Dillon, and will most certainly need to take substantial time away from work to fight this disease. The medical expenses, and life expenses in general, will be overwhelming and a huge financial hardship for Betty. When facing a life-threatening illness, the last worry you need is stretching a paycheck to try and meet the most basic of life expenses. Betty has lived and worked in St. Petersburg, Florida since 1980. During that time, Betty has been a working mother for 21 years.
Betty is a friend to all of us. No one could find a mean thing to say about her or recall an experience when she wasn’t smiling (those dimples!!), happy and friendly. It’s time to come together as a family/community/brotherhood and show her we love her and we are here for her.
Please find it in your heart to make a donation to help Betty and show her your support in this battle—the biggest fight of her life—and share with your network of family, friends, and co-workers to help reach our goal. God Bless.
Donations can be made anonymously.
