Help Beverly Rebuild Her Store After Hurricane
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Beverly. I have been making candles for over 5 years, and on June 1st, I opened my first store in Banner Elk, North Carolina.
On Friday, September 27th, my store was hit by Hurricane Helene. Flood waters busted my back door open, causing the store to be flooded with 4 feet of water. So, I lost all of my equipment, my computer, my printers, my Cricut Maker 3, all the equipment to make the candles and soap, most of my inventory, and my supplies to make everything. Tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage.
I filed a claim with the insurance company, and they will not pay for anything. I left my full-time job to open the store, and now I am unemployed with no way to get my store back open. With the money, I will use it to buy equipment to reopen my store once the building is repaired. Any donation is gladly appreciated!
