Help Bianca Find Her Smile

Hey! My name is Bianca. I am a clinical therapist and single mom and I have managed my diagnosed major depressive and generalized anxiety disorders for years. However, recent chronic traumatic exposures have exacerbated my internal resources, and is every day is a struggle. I am not okay, y'all, and I need a break.

In order for me to prioritize my mental health, I need to take a leave of absence, and because I have only been with my employer for 7 months, I do not qualify for a paid leave. In NYS, I can apply for short-term disability and if I am approved, I will get $170/week (pre-tax). But that will not sustain my family.

I am asking for your support to cover my regular monthly expenses for 6 weeks. During that time, I intend to rest...a lot, replenish my hope, rebuild my capacity, and work toward healing myself so that I can get back to the work of helping others heal.
