Help Doug Battle the Big "C"

UPDATE: Wow, what a month, we've been keeping Doug busy with a birthday party, swim party and a 4th of July party. Time to slow things down a bit. Doug's healing head hit a stumbling block, an infection. His oldest daughter, Nicole Dulude Meza, has been set up as the manager of this fund once the treatments begin.
By now, I think, most of you know that Big Doug had emergency brain surgery a several weeks ago. The surgery was able to remove part of the tumor but not all of it. While he is healing well, the pathology report has come back confirming Glioblastoma Stage 4 cancer.
Doug has a long road ahead of him full of radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Through out this process Doug obviously will not be able to work and can use our help.
Not only will Doug be going through treatments but Doug being the great guy he is, will also be helping his mother out, she recently suffered a stroke. Doug would never ask for help, but there has been an unbelievable outpour of friends wanting to help. So, we asked Doug and his daughters if they would be okay with us starting this fund for one of the greatest guys you could ever know.
We would like to help him through this stressful time. Whether you are family, long time friend, a new friend or someone who met him through a friend of a friend, we want to repay his generosity. Doug is an honest to goodness good guy, never hesitating to help anybody, share a meal, or to jump right in and to do whatever is needed at the moment. The response we’ve had from friends wanting to help Doug has been amazing! We feel this would be the easiest way for all of us to help Doug and his family and to show him how much we love and appreciate him.
Thank all of you in advance for your heart felt calls, text and donations. Any donation is greatly appreciated, big or small.
