Help Bill the Peanut with Cancer Treatments
Bill the Peanut is senior rescue chihuahua mix who has an inoperable tumor growing in his upper jaw/cheek. The only option to give Bill a chance at more time as a sassy and happy senior is to slow the growth or shrink the tumor before it limits his ability to eat and breathe. We have opted for chemotherapy and holistic options. He has had 5 chemotherapy treatments over the summer. He is tolerating the treatments just fine and the tumor is showing signs of slowing its progression. I am hoping to be able to keep the treatments going and am humbly asking for your help in covering the costs of Bill's cancer treatments.
Bill was adopted as a hospice dog, 6 years ago. Amazingly, Bill has thrived with a seizure disorder, congestive heart failure, thyroid issues, autoimmune disease, and several oral surgeries to remove his teeth, and a cancerous mass two years ago. He is a tiny sassy senior superstar and has helped with numerous events and fundraising initiatives for rescue animals and animals with cancer. He has been a foster brother to other rescue dogs and spreads the joy of senior dogs. It is truly amazing watching the reaction people have to Bill, he makes everyone smile. People are always shocked to learn he was rescued at 10 years old and just how active and happy he is. He can be found on Instagram and Facebook at Bill_the_Peanut.
Bill is pure joy and we hope you can help us by making a donation towards his care. We are happy share the joy of Bill be sending a Bill the Peanut sticker for every donation (this is optional).
Bill is the perfect example of the potential of rescue dogs and just how much they deserve a chance and are worth saving. Thank you for your support, celebrating Bill and helping buy more time.
