Billy Anderson always helped others now help him!

I’m writing this on behalf of my friend, Billy Anderson, age 57, who along with his wife Pegeen, have been life long residents of Freehold Boro, NJ. Billy was a union carpenter by trade (Local 2250/255) and a longtime volunteer fireman with the Freehold Boro Fire Department. In addition, he is also a member of The Sons of the American Legion (SQ #54), The Ancient Order of Hibernians (DIV 16, Freehold) and has volunteered his time for several other organizations in the Boro. Billy has always taken time to assist those in need and now he needs help.
Since late 2009, Billy has fought and survived cancer 7 times. He has endured countless surgeries, many rounds of chemotherapy and 40 rounds of radiation. Unfortunately, he has also suffered severe side effects. One of those side effects is
Osteo Radio Necrosis of his jaw, which means his jaw is severely deteriorating.
He is now in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital having half of his bottom jaw replaced with the fibula from his leg. This is a 10-12 hour surgery that requires him to have a tracheotomy and feeding tube, a 2-week stay in ICU and at least a 5-month recovery when he gets home. This will absolutely be a life-changing situation for my friend.
Billy’s wife, Pegreen, is also disabled suffering from several severe autoimmune diseases, which causes her to be in a wheelchair.
Within the last 6 months, they’ve had to replace their refrigerator, stove and most importantly, their vehicle.
Their savings and 401K are depleted and bills are mounting. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, your prayers would certainly help a great deal.
