Help Bing for the leg surgery

Hi, my name is Akshay. We adopted a cat from Seattle Humane 3 and half months ago. His name is Bing and he is a 2 year old domestic long hair cat. Yesterday 02/23/2024, he fell down from stairs unfortunately. We took him to the ER and they have taken his xrays and made the following diagnosis for him.

"High rise cat"

"Distal femur fracture on the left leg"

"Has right cranial dorsal hip luxation that we are attempting to reduce right now”

It is approxiamately costing us almost 20000$ to get his surgery done and the cost of ER and his stay(as told by the ER). We are also finding it difficult to find a board certified surgeon as its a weekend, but we are calling multiple hospitals.

20000$ is more than what we can afford. That is why we are requesting the community here to help us in any way possible. Right now the cost is approximate and if in case we raise more than what it is costing us, we promise we will donate it to organizations like Seattle Humane. I will also attach all the bills as soon as we get it.

We love Bing way too much and really want him back on his feet as soon as he can, and want him to be pain free. He is such a sweet heart. Please help us.

Update - 02/24 8PM - We got a chance to go and see Bing. He had a closed hip reduction today, so far keeping our hopes up. This is him in the ER, eagerly willing to come to us, poor thing!

Update 2/25 12pm - We went and met Bing. He is doing much better than yesterday. Nurse said he was watching cat videos on the ipad they have for him.

Luckily we got a surgeon available today and this afternoon we will have surgery. Please pray for him to have successful surgery

Update - 2/26 10PM - Bing is home today after his surgery and hip reduction. Next up is recovery and we are praying he recovers well soon. He was hungry and ate 3 deluctibles.

Meanwhile we got updated final bill from the ER which is coming up to total of 13343$.(That’s why I removed all the intermediate bills) So we have updated the goal amount to reflect that. And also attaching the bill here.

P.S- ER had taken deposit for more just in case if time comes to that. That’s why our initial goal was 20000$. They sent the final invoice today, hence we changed that to 13343$.
