Help BJ Fraley get a new Kidney!

Well if you are reading this then you are now part of my journey to get a new kidney!

In March of 2023 I began a three month period of being sick, having the flu, pneumonia, and covid19 (3rd round of it) all back to back. I then went into kidney failure requiring a long hospitalization and starting dialysis. Consultations with doctors and a biopsy revealed that a new kidney is my only option.

I'm currently registered with UK and Cincinnati for donor centers but I live at least 2 hours from each center.

The funds I am raising will be used to provide transportation costs (including the purchase of a reliable vehicle) to attend my evaluations and testing, follow ups, and my eventual stay for kidney transplant.

I teach in an elementary school and love my job and my students and am working hard through home dialysis to continue working full time. I'm a family man, volunteer at a clothing center, and coach youth sports. I want to be around to see my kids and grand-kids grow up.
