Help Black Lives Matter and Trans Activist Alexa W

On Sunday, 09/13/2020 Lancaster PD shot and killed Ricardo Munoz. That night a protest was held in Lancaster PA. Many of the activists were arrested and a Pennsylvania judge is throwing the book at them– setting ridiculously high bail amounts – for allegedly rioting.

Alexa Wise was one of those protesters, who has taken to the streets time and time again to support the BLM movement. Her work has focused on preventing violence and attempting to engage law enforcement in the conversations this country desperately needs to combat police brutality and create equity for people of color.

Lancaster Stands Up said it best: “The absurdly high bail amounts indicate that what we’re seeing is not a measured pursuit of justice, but a politically motivated attack on the movement for police reform and accountability.”
