Help Black Queer Femme Leave Abusive Home

Hello my name is Faith. I am 17 years old and I need help raising money to escape an abusive home and fund my way through school. I’m going to college in a couple of days and I plan on cutting off all contact with my parents once I reach there. My relationship with my parents is emotionally and mentally exhausting, I have been left with no choice but to end our relationship and move on with my life alone. I will be moving from New Jersey to Ohio, and I no longer have a job since I resigned. I am in desperate need of financial assistance since I have no income coming in and I have several expenses in my near future, including buying a new phone, textbooks, a laptop, and several other college necessities that aren’t simply accessible right now due to my lack of funds at the moment. I am extremely afraid that I won’t be able to pay my spring semester bill of $4000 or even have any recreational money for food or travel during college. I plan on being apart of work study at my college and using my earnings to pay my spring semester bill and look for a job for my own pocket money but my school has placed a lot of limitations on out-of-campus work due to the spread of covid-19 in Ohio. I am simply asking for any financial assistance because help from family isn’t an option since I have been emotionally, verbally, and mentally abused for the past 5 years by both of my parents. I won’t get in detail about the abuse but it has left me no choice but to leave New Jersey and start my new life in Ohio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
