Little extra help for Blaine and Brittany Brunke❤️

Hi my name is Crystal and I am fundraising for my brother Blaine Brunke and his family. Blaine and Brittany have 3 kids, and have had one of the worst years of their lives this last year.

It has been a full year that Blaine has been complaining of shortness or breath, needing steroids and multiple hospital visits to stabilize his breathing... and after one very long year we finally know what his diagnosis is. It’s called Antisynthetase Syndrome. An extremely rare auto immune disease that causes interstitial lung disease, causing Blaine to potentially remain on oxygen and medications all his life. This last year he had not been able to work, as he can only walk short distances and always needs his oxygen.

In addition to these difficulties Brittany had developed placenta previa during her pregnancy. She had 3 hospital stays herself last fall, with the final one delivering baby Thayer at 29 weeks old. His birthday is September 12th. Thayer then spent his first 69 days in the NICU as well.

Between the 5 family members 3 of them have spent way too much time in the hospital this last year. ❤️

We are grateful that Thayer and Brittany are both healthy now. But Blaine is still couch ridden, unable to work and care for his family as he wishes he could.

This is a huge change for their family, and they will need to manage Blaine’s chronic illness while figuring out how to make ends meet in the mean time. Brittany takes care of all 3 kids and Blaine right now. This is their new normal. Please help them make ends meet until they have the ability to do it themselves! ❤️
