Help Blake Create an Accessible Home and Office

Introduction
Hi, my name is Blake, and I have a physical disability called Cerebral Palsy. The Mayo Clinic defines Cerebral Palsy as a disorder of movement, muscle tone, or posture caused by an insult to the immature, developing brain, most often before birth. CP has made everyday tasks (ADLs) such as eating, walking, and typing extremely difficult. It also causes my muscles to be constantly tense, resulting in pain and making it difficult to relax fully. However, I don't let it stop me from living out my mission of helping others overcome their barriers and reaching their goals. I pursue this mission by coaching others and creating positive, encouraging, and inspirational content on TikTok (@coachblakeshelley).
The Ask
Although I live with family and will always require assistance with certain tasks, I'm constantly looking for ways to gain more independence and improve my quality of life. I am currently in a season of change as we are moving into a new home. This new house will ultimately allow me to be more independent and give me more of my own living and workspace; however, I need some tools to make my space more accessible and reduce my pain level. Would you please consider helping me create an accessible living and workspace?
Below is a list of the items I'm raising funds to purchase in order of importance.
* Indicates that item(s) can be purchased through my Amazon List here, in place of a donation.
- Nectar adjustable bed frame and mattress - This is the most essential (and expensive) item on the list as it will significantly reduce my pain. I often relax, watch TV, read, and work from my phone, in addition to sleeping in my bed, and the ability to change the position of my back and legs will reduce tension in my back and hips.
- Bio Bidet* - Without oversharing, I've used a bidet to be independent in the restroom for several years now. Unfortunately, I could not have my previous seat removed from my former bathroom without damaging the unit.
- 3x SwitchBot Curtain Smart Electric Motor & Hub* - Curtains are difficult for me to open and close. These will allow me to open and close the curtains in my bedroom and office with my phone.
- Philips Hue Smart Lights*, 3x Philips Hue v2 Smart Dimmer Switch and Remote*, 3x Hue Motion Sensors* - I've been slowly building my Hue lighting system, which has made it easier for me to turn lights on through automation. These additions will make it easier for me to turn them on by walking or rolling by.
- HOOBS Box - Enable my smart home devices to communicate with Apple HomeKit and Amazon Alexa.
- Roomba*
- Olympia 6 Drawer 59.25'' W Double Dresser
- Balee Overbed Table with Crank*
- Floortex Polycarbonate XXL Office Mat 60" x 60"
- A computer for my assistant to use
Thank you for your assistance! Once I move in and set up my assistive space, I will make videos of how this equipment improves me quality of life.
