Help Blankenships Rebuild Workshop & Food Bank
Donation protected
Hey there-
My name is Kelsey Blankenship, daughter in law to David and Beverly Blankenship, former owners of Sleepy’s Cabin Decor in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, for 25+ years.
On February 14th, an accidental fire took place at their workshop, located on the same property as their home and church. The fire devastated the workshop, leaving charred ruins of years of hard work, dedication, and family business.
In addition to tools, supplies, paint, and so much more, the fire also took some of their supplies for their local food bank that serves Holiday Island, AR; Eagle Rock, MO; and surrounding areas.
This food bank serves 60+ families each week, bringing necessary supplies and food to an impoverished part of our region. With the loss of their deep freezers, they are now unable to offer these people the dignity of fresh meat and other frozen goods.
It is difficult for Dave and Bev to ask for help, but if you have it in your hearts and budgets to provide support to get their workshop and main source of income as well as the food bank fully operational again, our family would be grateful for your support.
If financial support is out of your capabilities right now, and if you know Beverly, you know she is a woman of prayer and would graciously encourage you to pray for a speedy recovery of their wholesale business and food bank.
Through fire, hardship, and everything else this world brings- God is still good.
